 | Monday, August 29th, 1966: Singer Out for 4-5 Weeks "I'm frustrated right now," said Baltimore starting pitcher Bill Singer. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Huns, that's where he will be spending the next 4-5 weeks. Singer suffered a damaged meniscus in today's game against Denver while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." This season Singer has compiled a 11-8 mark with a 3.70 ERA in 23 starts. |
