Antiquity League News Article | |  | Sunday, October 16th, 1966: Carroll Signs 3-Year Extension Denver fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Clay Carroll won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 3-year extension at a pay rate of $451,666 per annum.
Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Denver officials had to keep Carroll from jumping ship.
In 1966 Carroll has collected 19 saves. He has 24 strikeouts and 13 walks in 52 innings while registering a 1.73 ERA and a 8-5 won-lost record. | |
