Antiquity League News Article | | | Thursday, July 13th, 1967: Cuellar Zeroes in on Baltimore "That was one of my best outings," said Mike Cuellar. "I was worried a lot in the bullpen. My ball wasn't quite right. Luckily, it can be two different worlds -- the bullpen and the game. Once I stepped on the field, it all fell into place."
It was an impressive start for the Colt .45s hurler. He blanked the Huns 8-0 on a strong 5-hitter while ringing up 4 strikeouts and doling out 4 walks.
In 19 starts this season Cuellar has compiled a 9-7 record and a 2.88 ERA. | |
