 | Thursday, June 22nd, 1967: Harrisburg Gets Shutout Win Over Rochester The Rochester Lakers struggled at the plate today against Capitols hurler Yutaka Enatsu, who shackled them on 5 hits while hurling a complete game 6-0 shutout.
"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said the Lakers skipper in his postgame comments.
"Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."
Enatsu finished the game with 8 strikeouts and 5 walks in an excellent mound performance.
"He pitched real well," his manager said. "Yutaka made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
Enatsu has made 11 starts, tossed 81.1 innings, struck out 57 batters and walked 29. His record is 5-4 with a 3.43 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .264 batting average. | |
