 | Friday, July 7th, 1967: Daboll Sidelined for 2 Weeks The Rattlers received bad news this morning. Dennis Daboll will miss 2 weeks due to a strained back muscle. In the Phoenix-Memphis game he sustained the injury while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Daboll sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." For the season Daboll has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves, compiled a 1-5 won-lost mark and a 3.26 ERA. In pitching 80 innings, he has totaled 40 strikeouts and 34 walks. |
