 | Wednesday, June 21st, 1967: Jerry Stephenson Suffers Injury Jerry Stephenson had to leave the Reapers game against Peoria after suffering a torn rotator cuff muscle while throwing the ball. He will be out of the lineup at least 7 months. He told SION reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong."
This year Stephenson has registered no saves in 12 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 0-2 won-lost mark with a 5.00 ERA. In 18 innings he has fanned 17. | |
