| Breaking News | | Saturday, August 5th, 1967: Cuellar Sits out with Day-to-Day Injury Colt .45s star starting pitcher Mike Cuellar may be sitting it out a few days after he picked up an injury in yesterday's game against the Philadelphia Keystones. He sustained a strained back muscle while throwing a pitch. Cuellar isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about 1-2 weeks.
This season Cuellar has 10 wins and 9 losses and a 2.89 ERA. | | Monday, July 31st, 1967: Houston Left Fielder Will Miss 2 Weeks Isao Harimoto had to leave the Colt .45s game against Chicago after suffering back spasms while colliding with a player at a base. He will be out of the lineup at least 2 weeks. He told SION reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong."
This season Harimoto has 8 home runs and a .288 batting average. | | Monday, July 31st, 1967: Houston Deals Fischer to New York for Lolich The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official.
