| Breaking News |  | Thursday, August 10th, 1967: Salt Lake City Shuts Out Blues, Monbouquette Winner
Bill Monbouquette of the Salt Lake City Saints blanked Memphis 3-0 on 3 hits. He rang up 7 strikeouts, keeping batters off balance all day long.
This season Monbouquette has crafted a 7-4 mark with a 2.27 ERA in 91.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .229 against him and he has 51 strikeouts.

 | Tuesday, August 1st, 1967: Salt Lake City Starter Named ALAAA's Best Pitcher
July was a magical month for Dick Drago of Salt Lake City. He held the ML Triple A hitters spellbound, conjuring up a 5-1 mark and a 2.23 ERA.
Drago also chalked up 6 starts, 48.1 innings and 26 strikeouts.
For this outstanding performance he was rewarded with the Pitcher of the Month trophy.
This year Drago has compiled a 9-5 record with a 3.13 ERA.

| Monday, July 24th, 1967: Salt Lake City's Maeda Gets ALAAA Player of the Week
This week's top performer in the ML Triple A was third baseman Masuho Maeda of the Salt Lake City Saints.
He lashed out a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Maeda tagged 14 hits in 28 at-bats and no home runs, drove in 7 runs and scored 4 times.
In the 1967 season Maeda is hitting .268 with 5 home runs.
