When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Rattlers had a 8-6 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 21-year-old shortstop said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."

"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 29-year-old third baseman said after his record-setting performance.
