The Hagerstown right fielder was a tough out and went 5 for 6 against Springfield in a fine hitting display.

B. Darwin flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

"That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well."
It definitely turn out well for Sands today as he collected 6 hits in 6 at-bats against Hagerstown. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Steelers knocked off the Hubs 17-2 at Barons Ballpark.
